Hi there, I'm so glad you're here! I'm Vanja (pronounced Vanya) -- founder and lead planner, and a hopeless romantic at heart. I spent eight years in the hospitality industry, building a strong foundation in leadership, operations, and creating exceptional guest experiences, followed by ten years in the wedding and corporate event industry, with experience in decor, event design, florals, and planning.
I'm known for my attention to detail, organization, strong communication, and genuine care for my clients. I go above and beyond to ensure every detail is thoughtfully taken care of and that your wedding day feels seamless from start to finish. One of the things I value most is building meaningful relationships - not only with my couples, but with every vendor I have the pleasure working alongside.
I'm married to my high school sweetheart and mama of two. When I'm not running the biz, you'll find me spending time with my family, serving as a personal chauffeur to my kids, out at the lake or binge watching my favourite Netflix show. I love a good matcha, tacos, and a lime margarita on the rocks. I'm incredibly grateful to do what I love and to have the opportunity to be a part of such a meaningful chapter in my couples' lives. Helping bring their vision to life and creating a wedding day they can truly enjoy is what makes this work so special to me.

With more than fifteen years of experience in hospitality, Mel brings experience in leadership and event management. From leading operations for a high-end catering company to her most recent work in marketing, she has a natural ability to bring people and details together. As a wedding coordinator, she ensures every celebration flows seamlessly from start to finish.
A mama of two busy boys, Mel is no stranger to multitasking and keeping all the details in check. She loves spending time with her family and making the most of life’s everyday moments. To know Mel is to love her - her warm personality, caring nature, and genuine passion for people make her such a special part of our team.
Wedding Assistant
Erica Abbott
With a background in interior design and hospitality, Erica brings a calm, welcoming presence to every wedding day. As a day-of assistant, she works alongside the lead planner and coordinator to help keep the day running smoothly, from assisting with setup and decor to supporting vendors, helping guests, and ensuring the many details of the day are taken care of. She truly enjoys being part of the energy and excitement of a wedding day.
A proud mama of two, Erica enjoys staying active, and healthy meal prepping. Her kind, hardworking nature and genuine love for helping others make her a wonderful addition to any wedding day.
